From a field of 14 girls, Miss Barbara Payne, a sophomore office administration major from Pittsburg, Kansas, was chosen the 1972 KANZA Queen. Barbara was sponsored by Alpha Sigma Alpha social sorority and is a member of AWS, Panhellenic, and Pi Kappa Alpha little sisters.
