Abstract

News clipping of a short bio of George Sweatt, baseball player for the Monarchs. Referred to as "the big Collegian" the bio states he reported to the team in May after the school year ended as he was a teacher as well as their second baseman.

The year published is an estimation based on the sentence "after his two season with the Monarchs." George Sweatt's third season was the 1924 season.
