Abstract
Title of the newspaper is difficult to make out. Article is made up of biographies of some of the players. "GEORGE SWEATT, the great utility player for the Monarchs, is one of the best Negro athletes in the country. Sweatt stands more than six feet tall, and weighs 190 pounds. He is a graduate of the Pittsburg, Kas., State Normal, where he was a star member of the track, basketball, football, and baseball teams. Sweatt plays both infield and outfield, and is the fastest man on the team. He is the principal of the Negro high school of Coffeyville, Kas., and will return to school right after the World Series. He is popular with the people of his state, and was granted leave of absense until he finishes the playing season. Sweatt is a rather [modest?] fellow, and is married."
