Abstract

"Mrs. George Sweatt, who has been spending part of her vacation here with relatives, left today for Pittsburg where she will enter the State Teachers College. Mr. Sweatt, first baseman for the Monarchs at Kansas City, Mo., will join her there as soon as the baseball season closes and will enter the college. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sweatt taught in the colored school at Coffeyville last year."
