Abstract

District VII Southwestern Oregon Junior and Senior High Schools held the festival-concert in the Marshfield High School Gymnasium, Coos Bay, Oregon. Multiple schools performed at this festival. The Junior High Choruses performed Eva Jessye's "Simon, the Fisherman" with an 800 voice choir (according to a handwritten note on the program). Jester Hairston was the Guest Conductor and Soloist.
