Abstract
The various music groups of Northern High School, Detroit, Michigan, performed at the festival. Eva Jessye wrote "Simon the Fisherman," which was performed by the Festival Mass Chorus. Orvis Lawrence was the band director and Melvin Thompson was the choral director.
