Abstract

The rally took place at Rackham Memorial Auditorium in Detroit, Michigan. The rally was put on by many cooperating organizations, the chairman being Walter P. Reuther, President of United Automobile Workers. Tom Mboya, "Kenya's Outstanding African Leader," was the speaker. Eva Jessye was the Director of her choir; Jessye wrote "Freedom is Worth Talking About." There is an information sheet over Tom Mboya attached.
