Description
Black & White photograph montage of various shots of the United States Army Air Force, 93rd Bomb Group, 409th Bomb Squadron, circa 1942-1943. The first five images reveal life for the 93rd Bomb Group on their base, including cooking breakfast, going to the privy, getting a haircut, soldiers with their mess kits, and eating SPAM. The last image (bottom right) shows several North African children standing on a sidewalk and an older boy asking two servicemen if they would like to have their shoes shined.
