Description
Black & White photograph montage of various shots of the United States Army Air Force, circa 1942-1943. The top image shows six Consolidated B-24 Liberator bombers flying in formation. There is an image of a Consolidated B-24 Liberator heavy bomber flying above flak in the lower middle left side of the montage. Two images show service personnel watching aircraft taking off for a mission. Three images show servicemen coming back to their base after the mission and inspecting their bombers for damage. There is also an unidentified target site in the middle of the montage.
