Description
Black & White photograph of Ninth Army Air Force, 365th Fighter Group, crew members servicing Republic P-47 Thunderbolt fighter airplanes at the Fritzlar, Germany (Y.86), airfield, circa April 1945. The P-47 Thunderbolt that is shown second from the left with B4 painted on the fuselage was flown by the 387th Fighter Squadron. The two P-47s on the bottom right with D5 painted on their fuselages were flown by the 386th Fighter Squadron.
