Abstract

Color postcard of the Lehigh Portland Cement Company's Plant in Iola, Kansas. Noted on the card is that its capacity was "4,000 barrels daily." Lehigh Portland was one of a few cement plants in Kansas, the limestone and shale makeup of the area being favorable to cement.
