Description

Two framed items on display in the Negro Leagues case. On the left, a newspaper clipping titled "Dedication is set for Humboldt field." The clipping details the ceremony that was taking place to dedicate a baseball and softball field in George Sweatt's name. On the right, a photograph of a metal plaque with a bio and relief of Sweatt. An ovular photo of Sweatt in his baseball uniform has been inserted on top of the photograph.
