Abstract
Faculty from the first IGEC (Innovative General Education Course) cohort will share practical teaching strategies they learned about, selected, and implemented in general education courses. In this interactive panel/roundtable discussion, participants will hear brief examples of small teaching changes designed to strengthen student engagement, learning, reflection, and success. Panelists will discuss what they tried, what worked well, what they adjusted, and what they would recommend to colleagues interested in making meaningful, manageable changes in their own courses. Participants will leave with realistic, adaptable ideas they can apply across disciplines and course levels.
