His articles have appeared in a number of journals.

RONALD G. MARQUARDT, who warns that the judicial system may sink under the weight of American litigiousness, is an alumnus of Pittsburg State and a former faculty member. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri and teaches political science at the University of Southern Mississippi. He has published articles on the judiciary.

JUANITA LAING, who reviews Rebecca Patterson's posthumously published Emily Dickinson's Imagery, received her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas and teaches English at Pittsburg State University.
