Abstract
The problem was to construct a suggested health program for the combined fourth, fifth, and sixth grades in a rural Negro school in Mississippi.
The technique consisted of setting up certain health objectives on the basis of what seemed to be the greatest need. Observing certain fundamental principles of education and curriculum construction, eight units of work were organized. Each consisted of certain objectives, suggested producedures, and desirable content material.
The suggested units are as follows:
Unit I. Malaria Fever.
Unit II. Scables
Unit III. Hookworm.
Unit IV. Pellagra.
Unit V. Vincent's Angina.
Unit VI. Tuberculosis.
Unit VII. Influenza.
Unit VIII. Commnunity Hygiene.
