Abstract
This study dealing with Keats's complete poetical works, is confined to the tracing of three aspects of the growth of the writer's ability his development in the writing of narrative poetry, in metrical skills, and in the use of imagery. The objective of this thesis is to show how Keats developed in these three ways during his short life and thus to suggest what greater heights he might have attained had ho lived a life of normal duration.
