Abstract
The purpose of this study was to supply the printing teacher and technical student with data and conclusions concerning the comparative testing of two types of printing papers in regard to absorption and penetration. Such comparisons may aid in locating observer error and enable students to gain some insight into the variability of paper properties. Conclusions of the study will be used in the selection of absorption testing practices of the Printing Division at Kansas State College of Pittsburg.
