Abstract

Eva Jessye wrote and directed the show for the 200th anniversary of the country in collaboration with the Taft, Oklahoma Bicentennial Committee. There is a biography and tribute to her in the front, a brief history of Taft, and biographies for some of the performers like Thomas Carey and Carol Brice. May 4, 1975 was Eva Jessye Day in Taft.
