Abstract

A Collegio article titled “KSC March Commemorates Dr. King,” published on April 19, 1968, describing the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial March north along Broadway Street to the Pittsburg High School (at that time) in Pittsburg, Kansas on April 9, 1968. The march, part of the Holy Week Uprising, was organized by members of the Black Student Movement, Kansas State College faculty, city counsel members, and members of the Pittsburg Chapter NAACP.
