Description
Black and White undated photograph of Horace Mann Hall. The building was completed in 1927 and named for Horace Mann, a pioneer in American education. Horace Mann housed the elementary laboratory that prepared college students majoring in education to teach 1st through 6th grades. The laboratory school closed in 1971. The building was renovated in the late 1990s to serve as the welcome center for the university.
