Description
Black and White photograph of Dr. Walter McCray and the college festival orchestra on the Carney Hall stage, circa 1920s. Dr. McCray first organized the annual Music Festival in 1915, a week-long event featuring guest soloists, orchestras, and operas. The highlight of each festival was the performance of Handel's Messiah.
