Description

Black and White postcard of Pittsburg firemen spraying water on the north and east sides of Russ Hall after a fire broke out due to lightning striking the building on June 29, 1914. Pittsburg Fire Department received the call at 3:45 a.m. Both No. 1 and No. 2 fire departments worked at the scene on and off throughout the day until 12:30 a.m. the next morning.
