Twisted baling wire
“The patterns that the wire made when it was twisted tightly together made a very tight looking texture. It reminded me of something medieval like chain mail or the grip for a sword. After making a few longer pieces I was ready to start forming them into something. I made a crazy set with huge rims and a very long bridge that looked very disproportionate, but that didn't matter because it's art!” –McAnulla Fisher
