Black and white photo of Willard Hall during its initial construction, Whitesitt Hall is on the left side of the photo and Willard on the right with the lawn of the Oval between the two. Labelled "Group of Students. Kansas State Teachers College. Pittsburg, =1923.=" However, no students are in the photo. The lawn is empty. There may be a couple to few workers taking a break at the stack of materials near Willard and person walking along the sidewalk in the background behind Whitesitt, but no identifiable "Group of Students."
