Mentioned on the inside front cover is 1946 -- Guy Lewis, member of First Cougar Basketball Team (top right). Other standout athletes shown are Gary Phillips (54), 1958-61; Ken Spain 1966-69; Ollie Taylor (22), 1968-70; Don Chaney (24), 1965-68; Elvin Hayes (44), 1965-68; Joe Hamood 1964-66; Lyle Harger (42), 1961-63; and Don Schverak 1961-64).
