Description

Black & White photograph of nine Douglas A-26B Invaders flying in formation by the Ninth Army Air Force, 386th Bomb Group (Medium). The three Invaders in the top center of the photo with the letters YA (V, X, and J) painted on the fuselage were flown by the 555th Bomb Squadron. The six Invaders at the bottom of the photo with the letters RG (X, K, I, Z, H, and A) painted on the fuselage were flown by the 552nd Bomb Squadron, circa 1944-1945.
