This collection contains several photograph that show the devolpment of Southeast Kansas throughout the 20th Century. A majority of the postcards are of Pittsburg State University, when it was known as Kansas State College of Pittsburg. The postcard images of Pittsburg itself were taken in the late 1880s by Elmer E. Long. Several of the images were created into postcards by the Graphic Arts Club from 1974-1976. The images in this collection are in their original colors.
