Abstract
Rebecca Polk authored this family history to recount the past five generations of her family. Over the last 5 generations, the maternal side of her family has predominately resided in the Walker, Louisiana area, as well as neighboring towns within Livingston Parish. The paternal side has predominately resided in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley over the last five generations. This document also traces economic, social, occupational and geographic aspects in her family.
