Abstract
The main purpose of this study is, to make a thorough investigation of the eighth grades involved, relative to a comparison of teachers' marks and actual achievements as shown by, "The Standard Graduation Examination, for Elementary Schools, as prepared by Otis and Orleans, Examination: Form A." In the cases of, Roosevelt, Lakeside, and College Junior High Schools, this investigation is supplemented by a use of intelligence records, found in the office of the Board of Education, Pittsburg, and in the office of College Training School, Kansas State Teachers College, Pittsburg.
