Abstract

The writer, having been in public school work for fourteen years and having been directly responsible for the placing of students in a second class city high school, of Kansas, for seven years, has found a great variation in the number of credits given for a given amount of music study. Transcripts of student entering the high shool of which the writer has been connected, from other schools of the state, served as a basis for the above conclusion. [From the Introduction]
