Description

Black and White photograph of the members of the college's Black Student Movement as they pay tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a memorial march heading south on North Broadway in Pittsburg on April 9, 1968. Approximately 200 marchers were escorted through downtown Pittsburg by city police officers and the Kansas Highway Patrol.
