“My idea behind this piece was how due to the Corona Virus our everyday sense of safety and how we see the world has changed or broken. By using the glasses to symbolize how our perception of safety has broken. The tape on the other hand I used to symbolize how people are still trying to blind themselves to how bad this situation really is my example of this is the Walmart near me where it is full everyday, and no one wears a mask inside.” –Crabtree
