Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the current knowledge level in regard to type 2 diabetes prevention and methods to aid in prevention. This project was conducted by surveying participants regarding their current knowledge over preventative methods. Then through an education video, an evaluation was completed to determine information learned. The themes of this project were to provide education to adults regarding diet, exercise, medications, and surgical approaches. This process of data collection occurred across a four-week timespan, and it was presented through a digital platform. Through these methods, the goal was for participants to state an understanding and carry out preventative methods to increase their quality of life.
